Bocce at the Club

Friendly Competition, Glen Eagle Style

Bocce is one of the most popular ways to socialize, stay active and connect with fellow members at Glen Eagle. With two well-maintained courts available, players of all skill levels are welcome to join in – whether that’s to enjoy a casual match or participate in an organized league. Members say it is as easy to learn as it is to make new friends on the lawn!

We have league play for 10 weeks, January 11th thru March 19th, which includes:

- Ladies' leagues on Monday and Wednesday mornings
- Men's leagues on Tuesday mornings
- Mixed Leagues on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings and Saturday morning.
Teams consist of 6 players, with one player functioning as team captain.  A match, consisting of three games, is played each week against another team in your league.  Wins and Losses are recorded and tracked to determine a winning team at the end of the season.  A Bocce banquet is typically held at the end of the season for all players.  A small fee is collected from players for winning team prizes.

Gather your friends and form a team or sign up to play as an individual and we will find you a team to play on.  We also have subs for all leagues if you do not want to play on a regular basis.
